Martina Burger

Research Associate, Land Systems and Sustainability Transformations

Martina Burger is engaged in two interdisciplinary projects in her role as a Research Associate. Her contributions towards these projects include components of both project management and content responsibility. She thrives on the diverse nature of her role, bringing together individuals from various backgrounds. With an M.Sc. in Climate Sciences, she is particularly fascinated by the interplay between land and atmosphere within the carbon cycle. At the Wyss Academy, she collaborates on approaches enabling sustainable livelihoods that preserve biodiversity in the context of this interplay. In the past, she could gain professional experience as a research intern at Paul Scherrer Institute.
