Summary
In Madre de Dios, understanding how the territory is changing requires seeing how social, economic, and environmental systems interact over time. This project produces and organizes useful information on these dynamics, combining scientific research with local knowledge. It explores nature–people relationships, local economies, governance processes, and participation, helping explain what is changing, why, and who is affected. Through learning spaces such as sessions, networks, and public events, knowledge is shared and applied by local actors. By generating georeferenced evidence, the project shows where opportunities and pressures are concentrated. In parallel, it tracks changes using simple monitoring tools and shared indicators, integrating this information into a platform that supports better decision-making and collective action in the territory.
