Dr. Fiona Stappmanns leads various activities at the Wyss Academy's Synthesis Center and in innovation development. In this capacity, she spearheads the establishment of an innovation fund and develops processes to bring together global stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions for systems change. Fiona is an expert and speaker on topics such as sustainable development, sustainable business models, circular economy, and sustainable finance. She is an advocate for a just and sustainable transformation, for example as a member of the executive committee of the global roadmap for an inclusive circular economy or the expert council at Inrate. Fiona holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen on sustainable business models.
