2025 Program

In June, the 2025 Changemakers moved from understanding their communities’ realities to actively testing solutions. Building on the foundation set in May, participants began shaping early ideas into tangible prototypes, each rooted in the needs and opportunities identified during their research.

Design thinking in action: Prototyping, testing, and storytelling
Throughout the month, Changemakers participated in live sessions and self-paced work focused on the next phases of design thinking: ideation, prototyping, and testing. They explored how to frame “How Might We” questions, brainstorm solutions collaboratively, and bring ideas to life through tools like storyboards, idea pages, and early business models.

One of the program’s most anticipated milestones, Demo Day, the program’s much anticipated live sessions, gave participants their first chance to present their ideas among their peers. From eco-tourism initiatives and digital learning hubs to regenerative land practices and community wellness projects, each pitch reflected personal commitment and deep local insight. More than a showcase, it was a moment for growth, each Changemaker received thoughtful feedback from thematic experts to strengthen their narrative and refine their prototypes ahead of Demo Day 2, taking place in July.

Growing as leaders: Inner work, dialogue, and policy exposure
Beyond the technical tools, June invited participants to reflect on the kind of leadership they want to embody. Sessions like “Why Inner Work?” and “Courageous Conversations” created space to examine conflict, vulnerability, and the emotional resilience needed for long-term change.

The first steps into policy engagement also took shape. Through expert-led Ask Me Anything sessions and preparatory self-paced work, Changemakers began connecting climate action with advocacy, asking not only how to build projects, but how to shape the systems around them.

Emerging voices, stronger foundations
The journey is still unfolding, but the momentum is clear. As one Changemaker from Madagascar shared,
“Being a Changemaker pushes me to give my all when I'm doing something. It often reminds me that I have a responsibility and encourages me to do better.”

Their projects are still growing. But their voices are already stronger!
