Roman Meier is Executive Assistant at the Wyss Academy for Nature, supporting the Directorate and helping coordinate strategic initiatives and organizational processes. He has several years of experience in international development and cooperation. Before joining the Wyss Academy, he worked for the United Nations and various non-governmental organizations in New York, Laos, Colombia, and Nigeria. Since he started his career, he has been particularly interested in systems transformation and the search for solutions that generate lasting benefits for both people and nature. He holds a master’s degree in international development from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
