At the Wyss Academy for Nature, Dr. Diana Ramírez-Mejía leads a synthesis project within the Global Policy Outreach & Synthesis Center. The project focuses on the global implications of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and aims to develop land system science tools that support the assessment of sustainable development pathways. Diana is an environmental geographer whose research explores how human activity reshapes landscapes and impacts sustainability. She is committed to advancing integrative science that bridges research and policy for transformative environmental action. Diana is a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she conducts her research in collaboration with the Wyss Academy for Nature.
